Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson…. initial thoughts

I've finally gotten around to reading this and I'm sorry I didn't start sooner. It's an interesting look at this modern icon. As book moves through his life one can see how this this modern icon became who he was. I'm still having mixed feelings about him. On one end he can be an erratic business savvy genius with zen-like qualities. He could inspire others to do things they didn't think they could. He could also rub people the wrong way with his sometimes brash directness. Could also tick to off with his bristly arrogance and belief in what he was doing.

One can also see the development of Apple's birth, growth, decline and rebirth. You can see how his vision has continued to influence and drive Apple to it's phenomenal success. Even posthumously he still continues to influence the style and philosophy of the company he founded in his parents garage.
